Latha’s Library is an initiative that aims to promote children’s literature in India and internationally.
We do this through the 100 Books Project which helps create and support libraries in schools and communities which lack resources and funding and through our blog, where we discuss children’s literature and share ideas with parents, teachers and school librarians. Read our post about creating lively libraries here.
You can support us by donating books, becoming a library volunteer or writing for our blog. We would love to hear from you. Please write to us at lathaslibrary@gmail.com.
Quote of the Month:
‘“Reading is an exercise in empathy, an exercise in walking in someone else’s shoes for a while.”
Malorie Blackman, Writer of Children’s Books
